Ten days before 26th December, 2004, the fateful day when tsunamis of unprecedented scale, pounded the shores of Sri Lanka, the elephants screamed and ran for higher ground, dogs refused to go outdoors, flamingos abandoned their low-lying breeding grounds, zoo animals rushed into their shelters and could not be enticed to come back out. What were the people doing? They were oblivious. The animals both wild and domesticated, sensed in advance when the earth was going to shake. The massive tsunami was triggered by a magnitude 9 temblor off the coast of northern Sumatra island. The giant waves rolled through the Indian Ocean, killing more than 150,000 people in a dozen countries but relatively few animals were reported dead. Why?
From our perspective on energetics, all of creation were born with innate sensing ability/mechanism. In the tsunami incident reported above, we believed that the animals were able to sense danger as their sensing mechanism was intact whilst the sensing mechanism of humans was not.
Coming back to the home front, prior to practicing CLT, I often find myself in a pickle, being asked to attend certain functions either from family or friends when I did not feel like going but out of obligations, I did. I did not realise that when I did not feel good about meeting someone or going somewhere, it was my sensing mechanism signaling to me that I was not ‘up to it’, that my body lacks certain molecules of minerals required to support me in attending the function or event. From the Academy’s research into energetics, every function of the body needs a minimum threshold of specific molecules of minerals to function properly.
Going against my natural instincts, I ignored/’shut down’ my sensing mechanism and instead told myself that it was ok. But I came back all tired and agitated, a sign of imbalanced/incoherent energy field.
From the Academy, I realized that it was important to connect back to my body and appreciate what my sensing mechanism was telling me before the physical manifestation of that event. I have long lost the use of this natural protection for myself and family. After attending the CLT workshops, I was re-educated on how to reconnect to my ‘natural hardware’ and one of them is reawakening and listening to my sensing mechanism.
