Further to the newsflash "Is an Epidemic of Depression Looming in Malaysia?”, CNN news by Fareed Zakaria on 10 September 2018 shared a short segment on kids who are unable to interact socially and handle conflicts. The revealing statistics were shocking. In the USA, teen boys’ suicides had risen to 18% from a year ago while teen girls’ suicides reached a staggering 70%. It is a global epidemic. We have gathered important information from our case mentioned earlier and will explain in detail in the following paragraphs how we understood and approached depression from a completely different angle.
Our case involved a lady in her late sixties. She was in a lot of distress. She felt so helpless in her predicament that she expressed in her own words, “she wanted to just give up and die” to end her misery. No one in her family knew of her condition. In Asia, the older generation of women hardly ever voiced their views or feelings in the open. They were brought up to be silent about their plight and excel in their roles as wife, mother and grandmother to perfection. We know them as the ‘silent generation’, the ‘rock’ and the ‘work horse’ of the family. It is an admirable trait until it crosses a boundary where these roles gradually consume everything including her own identity and soul. Our healee likened herself to be like a ‘caged bird’ with no freedom. She lived to service the ‘will’ of others and was always at their beck and call, running around to complete their chores for them. Her way of maintaining family harmony was by suppressing her ‘self’, believing that this would make everyone happy. As such, she slept for only 4 hours each day. Inevitably, due to sheer exhaustion and suppressed unhappiness, her world finally came crashing down.
When she came to the Academy, it was clear she was in a critical condition, not just physically but mentally and emotionally. The vibration sent to the profilers was that she was in danger. At that moment, precision and speed mattered the most. If the profilers had not gotten it right the first time, it might have been too late for her. Our profilers are not trained like licensed counsellors nor have any training and knowledge in medication to numb her depression. However, our approach was to quickly restore her ‘will’ to live. Then she would have a chance to change her life. To restore the will, the profilers had to identify which energies were badly needed to strengthen the ‘will’ to carry on. In her case she had depleted many types of the Light energies but a few were critically low, namely the Ultra Violet Light energy and the Golden Light energy. The Ultra Violet Light energy is of a higher frequency energy that gives tranquillity to life. Whereas the Golden Light energy gives hope and sunshine to enable one to look at the bright side and carry on to overcome the obstacles encountered. We also recommended the use of a special crystal that could supply ‘Pink’ energies to prevent her heart from shutting down from grief. These were the crucial Light energies used to stabilise her depressive condition. The tools we used were natural crystals. They are known for their speed and also precision in delivering energies.
Part of the diagnostics of profiling was to check on the chakras’ condition. The profilers also discovered that her crown and earth chakras were jammed. This meant that she needed to depend on someone to go through this difficult period or else she would be at a complete loss. A guardian must be present to monitor and watch over her, preferably someone who understands and loves her. Fortunately, her eldest son stepped forward. Her guardian was taught on how to help her replenish her Ultra Violet energies and most important, to remove all the activities that depleted these energies. As a law, tranquillity (the cool purple) is always destroyed by stress (fire). The guardian was shown by the Profilers his mum’s activities that required immediate change to help her conserve these energies.
Once these quick measures were introduced and implemented, the subject matter did not deteriorate further. The guardian gained more trust and faith in what we advised and brought her for subsequent sessions to further understand the energetic entanglement that caused her depressed state. In the next Newsflash we will share how the profilers unraveled the entanglement piece by piece which had her mind locked and unable to deal with her trapped emotions.
