When I travel, I would bring some of my crystals around apart from the crystals for CLT 5E Practice. During the night, I would place the crystals on the window sill (open air if possible) or on the veranda of the holiday resort so the crystals could be exposed to fresh air during the night after being worn the whole day.

The purpose of having travelling crystals during holidays is to quickly harmonize the living space which is beneficial for everyone. A seasoned traveller will know how often one encounters discordant energies; and how frustrating it is to end up losing sleep for many nights during a holiday trip. Others, not fully initiated into the practice will have a hard time understanding what the fuss is all about.
